And after this Magical experience of Gorilla Trekking, you can visit the twin famous Twin lakes of Rwanda that is Bulera and Ruhondo to enjoy enjoy the views of the surrounding features and local communities. Or you can choose to go for a cultural experience by Visiting Iby’wachu Cultural Village also commonly known as the Gorilla Guardian Village, where you can get involved in some of Country’s rich cultural and traditional practices.

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel, apartment or residence to start your Gorilla Expedition of the 2 Day Tour with the Gorillas in the Jungle. You will enjoys a brief tour of Kigali City, visiting the key places such as the Genocide Memorial site, the historical Hotel Des Mille Collines, the Kigali City Market, and a few other sites before driving to the home of the Mountain Gorillas, Volcanoes National Park. The journey is short and quite interesting with scenic Views of different attractions. You will visit the Ellen Degeneres Museum and conservation center located near Volcanoes National Park, before driving to your hotel or Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

You will have breakfast in the morning, then drive to the park headquarters for briefing on the set rules and regulations for gorilla trekking Expedition. After the briefing ypu will be guided by the experienced ranger guide into the forest in a group of 8 people.
Look out for other animals in the forest as you hike and upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed only one hour to spend with them. You will trek back to the starting point to meet your driver Guide to take you for lunch.
After having Lunch, you will visit the Gorilla Guardian Village where you will enjoy different activities of traditional dances, Wedding, Use of Bows and spears, and other cultural practices that also provide an economic opportunity for the former poachers. From here drive with your guide back to Kigali which marks the end of your safari.
